Nova's Total Eclipse was designed to be nothing other than pure black. We take the highest quality black oxide pigment and maximize the load in the can. It needs to be well stirred for that maximum black coloring. Total Eclipse is great for blending with our other colors to create something deep and mysterious. We love the look of Ipe and Red Balau finished with a Total Eclipse and Natural blended together (one third to one half Total Eclipse). Or just use it straight black on wood posts for a fantastic contrast against natural wood elements.

ExoShield is a deep-penetrating tung oil finish for all hardwoods and softwoods, exterior and interior: decking, siding, fencing, furniture, paneling and more. It is made for dense tropical hardwoods such as Ipe, Cumaru, Batu, Red Balau, Meranti and Mahogany, and works equally well on Cedar, Redwood, Douglas Fir, Oak, Walnut, Hickory, Birch, Hemlock, Bamboo and thermally modified woods.
Coverage varies with the species and the age of the wood. One gallon covers up to 800 sq ft on dense hardwoods and up to 450 sq ft on softwoods. We plan jobs at 600 and 400 sq ft per gallon so you don't run short, and older, weathered boards take more.
