ExoShield wood stain offers superior protection for exterior wood applications such as decking, siding and outdoor furniture.
Our secret formula protects your project while allowing the natural beauty of the
wood to remain the focus. Using a proprietary blend of Tung Oil, UV Blockers, Fungicide, and Trans-oxide pigments,
our ExoShield formula provides
long-lasting protection for exterior wood decking, siding & outdoor furniture while using only the finest marine grade components.
We strongly recommend that all hardwood and softwood products receive a minimum of one coat of an oil-based finish even when the
customer wants the wood to eventually gray or silver out. This initial layer of protection will help to minimize checking, warping, cupping and decay in all exterior wood applications.
We are proud to offer the very finest and longest lasting exterior oil-based transparent stain in the market today.

ExoShield - Only The Finest Components
The use of Tung Oil originated thousands of years ago in China and Egypt where it was used as a preservative on wooden ships.
Today it is the woodworkers’ #1 choice to add protection and beauty to a finished project. ExoShield exterior wood stain
takes advantage of the penetrative and protective properties that Tung Oil provides to create a naturally durable finish with
exceptional color stability. Our testing has shown ExoShield to be the longest lasting deck stain available.
The Tung Oil used in ExoShield deck stain provides a naturally
water-resistant, acid-resistant, and easy to use wood stain for all your siding, decking & exterior furniture.
ExoShield wood stain stabilizes the wood and greatly reduces the chances of boards either cracking or warping.
Fungicide is an essential deck stain component to maintaining the timeless beauty of your exterior wood decking & siding. ExoShield Wood Stain not
only offers protection from harmful UV rays and water damage, but it also includes a fungicide in the formula
that will keep your decking, siding or outdoor furniture in top shape, and fungi free.
This is just another reason why ExoShield deck stain is the answer for all exterior wood decking, siding & outdoor furniture applications.
Mahogany and Walnut ExoShield tend to look much more red when first applied than they will after several months of UV exposure. Red pigments fade first and are the most UV sensitive.
Our Walnut color will fade to become more brown after several months of UV exposure, eventually it will look nearly identical to our Natural colored stain after extended UV exposure.
Mahogany will become less vibrant after several months as the red pigments fade and the color stabilizes. Our Mahogany is particularly red to add Mahogany coloring to dense hardwoods
that typically take on less color when stained.

Coverage will vary based on the condition of your deck and based on how you apply ExoShield. Old decks tend to exhibit more checking and will therefore absorb more oil.
Moisture also impedes the ability of ExoShield to penetrate your wood. In very dry conditions, more ExoShield will absorb into the wood and coverage will be significantly lower.
If your deck was previously treated and any of that product still remains within the wood, ExoShield will not penetrate as well. In some rare cases, ExoShield will not penetrate and
form a film on top of your deck. Although ExoShield is compatible with most oil based finishes, we strongly recommend that any previous finish is removed before attempting to finish
with ExoShield. If your deck was previously finished with an epoxy resin or water based resin finish, these finishes must be removed before applying ExoShield. The actual range of coverage
could vary from 300 SF to over 1200 SF.

We use trans-oxide pigments and UV blockers in ExoShield deck stain to protect your deck from harmful UV rays, adding to the longevity
of the structure and color. The pigments used in ExoShield deck stain will bring out and protect the
natural colors of the wood it’s used on, providing a long-lasting vivid result. ExoShield wood stain will lengthen
the lifespan of the wood's color, delaying the graying process. When applied every one to two years,
your deck will maintain a nearly brand-new appearance, with very little maintenance.
