Tongue and Groove

A tongue-and-groove board carries a protruding tongue on one edge and a matching slot on the other, so each board locks into its neighbor. The joint hides the fastener, closes the seam completely, and keeps the surface flat across a span — which is why T&G is the pattern for porch ceilings, soffits, and interior feature walls, anywhere a continuous wood plane is wanted with no gap and no visible screw.

We mill T&G in a V-joint (V2E) pattern, which reads as a crisp shadow line between boards, and a nickel-gap pattern, which leaves a deliberate narrow reveal. Stocked in 1x4 through 1x8 in Batu and thermally modified Nova Ambara.
