Surfaced Four Sides, Square Edges

Square-edge S4S is the same fully surfaced board as standard decking, but with the edges left crisp instead of radiused. That sharp arris is what you want where boards meet trim, fascia, or each other in a tight line — the shadow line reads clean, and the joint closes without the small gap an eased edge leaves behind. It is a trim-and-detail profile rather than an underfoot one.

We stock it in Batu (Red Balau), Standard-and-Better grade, in the wide dimensions trim work calls for: 1x8, 1x10, and 1x12 boards, plus 2x6 and 2x8 stock.
