1x8 Hardwood Boards

At eight inches nominal, the 1x8 is where a board stops being a plank and starts being a panel. The extra width covers a wall in fewer courses and gives a broader, calmer face — the reason it is favored for wide-reveal rainscreen and for the trim and fascia that frame a building's edges. Because a wider board also moves more across the grain, this size rewards the dimensionally stable species.

Stocked in Ipe, Batu, and thermally modified Nova Ambara, in rainscreen, square-edge, bevel siding, rough-sawn, and T&G V-joint profiles.
