Find product details below for our Siding Clip offered in Extruded Aluminum Rainscreen Siding Clip in 1-1/2", Resilient Grade from Nova.
Hidden fastener clips have become very popular over the past few years. Unfortunately, most of the clips available do not perform adequately. They just can't hold the product in place over time due to the natural movements in the materials - wood will swell in humid conditions and shrink in dry conditions, and composites and PVC will expand in hot weather and shrink in cold weather. Nova's resilient clips were designed specifically to handle movement in boards. Each individual clip can compress 1/8" to accomodate the typical expansion seen in hardwood and softwood boards.
Our flexible resilient designs allow for the natural movement of wood, composite and PVC materials. These clips are able to handle up to 1/8" of widthwise expansion to ensure that your boards stay flat. Moisture or humidity changes in the environment will make wood swell or shrink over time.
Nova’s QuickClips can work with any type of wood including imported hardwoods, domestic softwoods, and thermally modified woods. The wood used must be milled to the specifications found on our website in order to fit our clips. We are happy to work directly with wholesalers, manufacturers and mills to provide the milling specifications and answer any questions regarding our system.
We use 305 series Aluminum in our extruded products. Manufactured exclusively in the United States under U.S. patent US20200408230A1.
